• Does giving the application or form mean I am ready for readmission? Not Yet! We will need to prepare your application for a review of the readmission. Once completed, you will be notified via email.

• If I receive my readmission offer of acceptance email, can I register for classes right away? We will notify you as soon as we have updated your application for readmission, but it will take a few days for us to configure your record in CUNYfirst. Undergraduate students will need to connect with their academic advisor prior to registering.

• I attended for RN-BSN in Nursing or the BS in Health Information Management. Is the process different? Yes, like graduate programs of study, these applications require faculty review so it leads to a slightly extended review period.

• How long does the readmission process generally take? The review process depends on the requirements, but generally applicants receive a decision within 2-3 weeks.

• What financial support is available to me? For information on financial aid, please visit:
https://sps.cuny.edu/financialaid

• What if my code isn't working? Let us know and we can manually waive it for you as long as the application has been started.

• What if I am interested but not ready to return right away? You're welcome to submit the readmission application whenever you are ready but note this offer to use the waiver code is only eligible for the upcoming semester. Reach out if you have questions about eligibility.

If you are unsure about which application process applies to you or need help with your readmission application, please contact the Admissions Office at
admissions@sps.cuny.edu or text us at (646) 517-7876.

*Please note that submission of a readmission form/application does not guarantee readmission or confirm eligibility for readmission. Rather, it allows eligible students to be considered for readmission through the University's review process.

All readmission decisions are subject to a comprehensive application review and are contingent upon the student's academic standing and eligibility to return to CUNY SPS.
